On one podcast, there was an instance where the urls included a '?dest-id=' query string and that made its way into the downloaded file name after the .mp3 extension. To work around that, I split the splitext again.
13:15:43 <nulldata> RE: the Google Play store purge - there are a few barriers to a project.  1. There's no public list of apps Google plans to remove. 2. Downloading apps requires a Google account. (as far as I can tell the 'anon' access in Aurora is just using a shared Google account)
