05:40:11 Ryz, JAA, katocala, HP_Archivist: well, do you guys often archive sites while wearing pajamas? I don't know if there's anyone who doesn't wear pajamas at all 05:40:36 oh look, katocala isn't here. guess he doesn't care to talk 05:41:03 I wonder if people sleep wearing something other than pajamas... 05:41:24 I consider what I wear 'lounge wear' not necessarily pajamas. Doing this work in anything more formal would seem taxing 05:41:28 I know this is a really weird conversation 05:41:58 Thankfully you don't have to wear a suit while working from home 05:42:32 Well, having said that, maybe something more formal would be more motivating, not sure. That could work either way 05:42:36 If wearing regular clothes I'm just wearing something decent 05:42:46 Usually sweat pants or shorts and a regular t shirt 05:43:12 No, wearing a suit is for people who are boomers 05:43:28 I just normally wear shorts at home; pajamas for me are when the weather is cold enought that I need to wear 'em 05:43:49 you guys wear pants?? 05:44:02 https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20200622005114/en/Dressing-Down-60-of-Teleworking-Americans-Report-Wearing-Sweatpants-Daily 05:44:11 More than half of American workers (60 percent) report wearing sweatpants while working from home, according to a new survey released today by SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). The survey also found very few (6 percent) of teleworking Americans don business attire and that most dress according to whether they’ll be seen by others via 05:44:12 video. 05:44:21 haha 6% go brrrr 05:44:48 This is one of those things that, like I said, could go either way. Also, it's about context and setting. Dressing really well hasn't been on my mind in quite some time since, you know, the world is a mess right now 05:45:18 I think the pandemic put, or should have put, people in a different mode of thinking for priorities and what's truly important 05:45:44 also, online school is a joke to me 05:46:43 my last 9 weeks of high school had to be virtual, and they did a horrible job lmao 05:47:12 they used this crap called cisco WebEx meetings and the world was scary 05:47:18 everything was way too easy 05:47:22 this was last year btw 05:47:24 the teachers had no idea how to use the software 05:47:26 "creative writing" was a joke 05:47:30 (That was a class) 05:47:32 Oh, and best of all your grade didn't matter. It was a pass/fail system. 05:47:55 graduation was at a Speedway and prom was cancelled 05:48:43 this year, they did some carnival-esque thing in place of prom called "morp". quite different than what would be prom 05:49:04 I never did homecoming nor prom in high school, and it would've been more heartache than what it's worth for me. 06:22:19 morp as reference to radio rebel or just standard antiprom thing? If reference, going wqith prome opens so many more theme opportunities (victorious). Talking about using crappy software, a couple online summer classes i took a few years ago used this anticheat blackboard test thing that used your webcam/mic/more restrictions...just do the init of 06:22:19 the anticheat (reading the statment) and close tab before clicking start test and then reopen tab with freedom of no webcam, can play music and use multiple monitors (i didnt do it to cheat, just annoyed at restrictions). 15:32:34 G4te_Keep3r1: from what I heard, morp was just a carnival lol 15:45:29 Larsenv in hindsight to my reply, radio rebel was a 2012 movie and victorious ended in 2013 so less current media...and most peoples plex servers probably dont have the variety of content age and genre as mine. My early college high school (each grade ~100 people) did prom, and it was interesting but would have preferred all of us to go go carting 15:45:29 or some group event. But im also the person who would rather run sound at a concert than be in the crowd (pre covid), but top each their own with events/activities
