I developed a new feature: when indexing tar files on whatsrc.org and a Cargo.lock file (or similiar) is discovered I'm now importing them into the database:
whatsrc.org/artifact/sha256:b21e192…344cf035f8ed5225740d7f055ca4f7f540a
-
kpcyrd
there's a section named "Dependency Lockfiles" with everything I discovered
-
kpcyrd
when clicking on that one you get a list of everything in the dependency tree, and I don't explicitly import them yet, but a few of those links already work because I imported that exact some .tar from Debian already
-
kpcyrd
-

-

namely, the aho-corasick, autocfg, cc, cfg-if, ... crates as used by Arch Linux when building ripgrep is identical with the source code that was uploaded to Debian as their respective rust-* packages
-
kpcyrd
*are identical
-
nicolas17
kpcyrd: hey I finished indexing almost everything in samsung-opensource, are you interested? :p
-
kpcyrd
did you pull the code from git or some file server?
-
nicolas17
-
kpcyrd
hm I don't do .zip
-
nicolas17
after I started mass-scraping they added captchas to every download
-
nicolas17
and I had to get creative :P
-
nicolas17
the zips usually contain Kernel.tar.gz and Platform.tar.gz inside
-

I currently focus on the source code ingested by Linux distributions, aka "the operating system fever dream"

Hey JAA: I want to grab all the reference files from this page and put them into an item, perhaps sorted by folders. Any suggestions how to download them all enmasse? I have all the hardlinks in a txt, Just need a way to grab them all at once.

I mean, at least one person complained that hackint doesn't support TLS below version 1.2 when we moved from EFnet, so...

"oh no"

TLS 1.2 was a decade old at that point.
