The Atom package API is still horribly slow. I expect the package listing to finish by the end of the week. No idea how far it'll get with retrieving the packages themselves. It will be going through them in the order of package creation, and most of the important ones are old (plus most of the new ones are spam), so hopefully it'll capture at least most of those.

Hey there, I wanted to check in on if the TCM boards were slated for being backed up. Think it was said it would start around the beginning of December to enable for a full backup.

Most recent activity per forums.tcm.com/discover is from Friday early morning (in whatever timezone they use).

Dunno, can't see any new posts, I do know it didn't go down midnight of Nov 30th sharp as was expected though. I think that's just someone editting their posts. Which I guess is still doable

I might also do a separate bruteforce of topics in case a) the AB job doesn't finish in time or b) the forum pagination is incomplete.

how much hdd space would you presume it will take?

I saw the imdb one, it didn't even take much space

Not a clue, but the general rule of thumb is: bigger than you expect at first.

AB will also archive outlinks from the forums, which adds significantly to the size.

The bruteforce would be pretty small since I'd only be fetching topic pages, not even images etc. (directly).
